A very popular variety that has unfortunately been wrongly labeled for years. Stapleford Gem has been sold as Sour Grapes.
The flower colour of proper Sour Grapes is darker than cobalt with some flowers dull violet blue and a throat that is white but with strongly defined markings in maroon.
