The variety that has been incorrectly labelled as 'Sour Grapes' for years. 

Is a unique washed mixture of blue, pink and lilac with a marked throat. Long flowering. The leaves are a matt dark green and tightly packed on the stem in spring. 

  • Colour: bright lilac variably suffused blue, underside white            
  • Throat: magenta stencilling
  • Height: 1m (3.25ft)
  • Group: 2B

Cultivation Do's and Dont's

o    Do deadhead regularly
o    Don’t prune until spring
o    Do prune old growth when new shoots are 3-4” long
o    Do add organic matter or grit if planting in heavy wet soil
o    Do plant in a sunny position
o    Do enjoy the flowers from June to October
