Green JJam nurseries was started as a small garden centre in 2008. We immediately became very involved with The National Penstemon Collection by assisting in the propagation and maintenance of the collection for Pershore College, and our passion for them was born!
In 2020 the nursery moved to a large field just outside Upton Upon Severn and we have been building and developing this into a purpose built nursery. The new site means we can grow more plants, apply for a National Collection, launch our online shop and also plant a White Garden as part of The White Nursery. Our plants can now be nurtured when necessary and we can confidently expand our range. All the Perennials are grown hard outside when established and will be available for purchase online or collection throughout the year. The established Penstemon are kept dry inside a glasshouse and are ready in early Spring.
We have been exhibiting at shows since 2012 and look forward to getting back to this in 2021.
